2017 Fall Show Review
CHB held their 7th Annual Fall Show at the Central Alberta Agricultural Society, Lacombe, Alberta. Exhibitors braved the early November snow and cold to gather together and compete for beautiful, hand crafted ribbons, cash and special prizes. The weekend included the Open Poultry, Junior, and Egg Shows. This year, CHB was pleased to introduce a new Junior Showmanship competition.
Spectators enjoyed viewing the wide variety of birds on exhibit as well as a friendly assortment of heritage farm animals. The buy and sell section was well stocked and offered many rare opportunities for someone looking to get a good start raising chickens, turkeys, waterfowl or quail.
