Wild Rose Classic - The annual APBA fall poultry show is returning to Olds, Alberta on February 10, 2024. This year's show will feature both poultry and pigeons, so be sure to save the date!
We are looking forward to seeing you at Olds for our annual show, along with some of your favourite birds!
After 12 years of successful operations, the board and members of CANADIAN HERITAGE BREEDS decided it was time for a fresh start!  CHB is now operating under the name of APBA!  If you are a poultry enthusiast there's never been a better time to sign up and become a member!  Read more: ABOUT

​Inside Scoop of a Show Coop...

Exhibiting birds is one of the most effective ways for enthusiasts to gain a better understanding of the correct standards for their chosen breeds and learn how to improve their flocks.  It's also a fun and challenging activity for all ages! In June of 2023, APBA hosted a workshop targeted at introducing people to the exciting world of poultry exhibition and helping them feel ready to enter a few of their own birds into a show.  A good number of spectators gathered at Olds to spend the day listening and participating in the four presentations.  If you were not able to attend in person, some highlights from each session were recorded and uploaded to our YouTube channel.  Enjoy!
